Department approved Shandong Provincial Knowledge Economy
Association (KEA), which was founded at the end of Decembe r of
1998. KEA, with its 17 branches and over 300 memberships, consists
of a Main Office, a Personnel/Human Resources Dept., an Accounting
Dept., an International Business Administration Dept., a Public
Designing Dept., a Public Relationship Dept., a Theory Study Dept.,
and an Academic Exchanges Dept., etc. KEA employs more than 20
senior level managers, who are all proficient in foreign languages
and experienced in international business administration. Top-level
management who have decision-making responsibilities all have a
Master degree or higher. Now KEA keeps cooperative relationships
with governmental agencies on various levels, colleges and
universities, research institutes, and domestic NGOs. KEA’s
partnerships with international NGOs and organizations cover various
fields such as rights protection of social vulnerable groups,
poverty elimination and agricultural industrialization and so on.
Mission Statement
KEA, acting as an intermediary agency
and partner with foreign NGOs, NPOs, chambers of commerce,
trade/professional associations, bilateral and multilateral
international organizations, its mission is to promote exchange and
collaborations in economy, scientific technology, education,
culture, environment protection between Shandong and foreign
countries and regions, and to foster stable and healthy development
of economy and society of Shandong province.
