b· In June, as the lead applicant, KEA participated
in EU-China Small Proje cts Facility Programme 2nd Call for Proposal
2004 and submitted the proposal, namely Seminars and Trainings for
Law Enforcement Activities of China's Intellectual Property
Protection. This Proposal was approved by EC on Feb of 2005,
application ref.: SPF/PMO/04/102. As many as 968 policy makers, law
executors and rulers, legal advisors, experts from the university
and institute, and managers from the entrepreneurs have attended the
training, discuss meetings and forums
c • from 2002 to 2005, KEA, as a main organization
in charge for cooperation and exchange for SMEs businesses of six
nation friendship states/provinces (Shandong province of China,
Bavaria State of Germany, California State of United States of
America, Quebec province of Canada, the Upper State of Austria and
Western Cape of South Africa), has been organizing all kinds of
grand academic seminars, training and workshop, business tour and
building conferences, and culture competitions, by the means of
collaborating with international NGOs, government agencies, chambers
of commerce, sector-specific trade and industrial associations,
bilateral and multilateral international organizations.
d • In 2005, cooperating with Shandong provincial
policy research institute, Shandong provincial legal agency,
Shandong provincial labor department, and Shandong Kechuang lawyers
office successfully organized ‘discussion meetings for the rights
protection of rural migrant workers'. This meeting helps to protect
the legal rights and interests of rural migrant workers and promote
the social justice.
e • From 2004 to 2005, cooperating with Shandong
agriculture department and Shandong agriculture university organize
the ‘poverty elimination through agriculture industrialization'.
f • In 2004, cooperating with Shandong provincial
labor department to organize activities such as legal assistance and
employment introduction to help the rural migrant workers to work
and live in the cities.
g • In August 2003, KEA successfully applied for
Shandong sustainable development project: Research in the Public
Sanitation System and Emergency Measures for Unexpected Situations. |
